We are often asked - “we’d love to book you, but are we too far away?”.

We are ALWAYS happy to travel for the right wedding. And we knew as soon as we chatted to Poppy and Tom on Zoom that their wedding was one worth travelling for. Super fun, warm, hug-loving couple: CHECK. Idyllic venue surrounded by beautiful views: CHECK. Lawn games: CHECK. Personalised ceremony: CHECK. Couple and guests ready to bring the vibe: CHECK. We literally could not say no.

And what a stunning day it was!

Ashley Wood Farm is a unique venue - the bones of it are absolutely beautiful throughout, but there is also lots of opportunity for personalisation. The courtyard is a dreamy location for your ceremony - if the weather holds up! The views over Fonthill Lake from the gardens are the perfect backdrop for drinks receptions and lawn games. There’s the Milking Barn for alternative/additional indoor space when the main barn is being turned around, and the front courtyard is complete with firepits and hay bales for cosy evenings.

The ceremony was the most personalised and emotional ceremony we’d ever seen - Poppy, Tom and their amazing celebrant, Juliette, worked together to create the memorable ceremony. Their friends also had a hand in the ceremony - with one playing the piano for a sing along to “You’ve Got the Love” and others amongst the guests playing the tambourine! It was an incredible atmosphere.

After the ceremony, the confetti was a VIBE!

Poppy in her jaw dropping Wed2b dress and Tom in his dashing Moss Bros suit flitted around their friends and family, enjoying the ice cold drinks by NJAC on the hot day and playing games such as welly wanging, (faux) cow milking and (inflatable) pig throwing.

The speeches were a great mix of heartwarming and hilarious - and the best men even hosted a quiz about the groom, complete with nostalgic photos!

The day was wrapped up with an incredible desert bar - featuring home made treats from Poppy’s wonderful mum - firepits, hay bales and blankets, Instax photobooth, plenty of drinks and live music from Vivid.
